Excel Expert Freelancer provides freelance spreadsheet consulting services including but not limited to financial modeling, VBA macro development, dashboard creation, data analysis, Power Query automation, and Excel training. Services are provided by independent freelance consultants matched to client projects based on skill requirements and availability.
All project engagements begin with a free consultation and written proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and pricing. Work commences only after the client approves the proposal in writing. Any changes to the agreed scope require written mutual consent and may result in adjusted pricing and timelines.
Our services are priced either on an hourly basis or as fixed-price project quotes. Rates are communicated in the proposal before work begins. Payment terms are net 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to pause work on accounts with overdue invoices exceeding 30 days.
Upon full payment, all deliverables including spreadsheets, macros, dashboards, and documentation become the exclusive property of the client. We retain the right to use anonymized, non-confidential examples of completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
We treat all client data, business information, and project details as confidential. Our consultants adhere to strict data handling practices and will sign non-disclosure agreements upon request. We do not share, sell, or distribute client information to third parties under any circumstances.
Each project includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as specified in the proposal. After project delivery, we provide 30 days of complimentary support for bug fixes and minor adjustments related to the original scope. Additional work beyond the original scope is quoted separately.
Excel Expert Freelancer provides spreadsheet solutions on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we are not liable for business decisions made based on deliverables, data loss resulting from client modifications to delivered work, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project in question.
Clients may cancel a project at any time before work begins at no cost. For projects already in progress, the client is responsible for payment of work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated on an hourly or percentage-of-completion basis as appropriate.
