Refund Policy

We want every client to be happy with the work we deliver. This policy explains when you can get your money back and how to ask for it. It works alongside our Terms and Conditions.

1. Quotes Are Free

Posting a project and receiving a quote costs nothing. You only commit once you approve a written proposal that sets out the scope, price and delivery date. If you decide not to go ahead, there is nothing to pay and nothing to refund.

2. Cancelling Before Work Starts

If you have paid anything in advance, such as a deposit or prepaid hours, and you cancel before we begin, we refund the full amount.

3. Cancelling While Work Is in Progress

You can cancel a project at any time. You pay only for the work completed up to the day you cancel, worked out by the hours spent or the share of the agreed deliverables already finished. If you have paid more than that, we refund the difference, and you keep the work completed so far.

4. If the Delivery Does Not Match the Agreed Scope

Every project includes 30 days of free fixes after handover. If something does not work as described in the proposal, tell us and we will correct it at no extra cost. If we are unable to make the deliverable meet the agreed scope, you can ask for a partial refund for the part that falls short, or a full refund if the delivery cannot be used for its agreed purpose at all.

5. Hourly Work and Prepaid Hours

For hourly work you are billed only for time actually spent on your project. If you bought a block of hours in advance, any hours you have not used can be refunded on request.

6. What Is Not Covered

Refunds do not apply in these situations:

• New features or changes requested after the proposal was approved. We quote these separately.
• Problems caused by edits made to the delivered file by someone other than us.
• Incorrect results caused by data or instructions supplied to us that were wrong or incomplete.
• Limits of your software version or operating system that we told you about before starting.
• Requests made more than 30 days after delivery, once the work has been accepted.

7. Projects Paid Through a Freelance Marketplace

If you hired us and paid through a third-party freelance platform, that platform's own refund and dispute process applies to the payment. We will still work with you directly to fix any issue, and we will cooperate fully with the platform if a refund is due.

8. How to Request a Refund

Email contact@excel-expert-freelancer.com with your name, the project name or proposal date, and a short description of the problem. We will reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take a few extra days to show the money in your account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version that applies is the one published on this page on the date you approved your proposal.
